Happy New Year 2006

Hi, everyone. My name is HR. I'm Japanese who studies in Korea now.
I start this blog for the people worldwide to know beautiful countried, Japan and Korea.
In Japan, we go to shrine on new year's day. It is for praying for a year. In ancient times
every nature things can be a god in Japan. So we called '800 millions gods'. Shrine is also
the religious place, but nowadays we go not by religious meaning, but just for praying
or making our mind 'empty'. The shirine on the photo is 'Kashihara Jingu shrine'.
It is said this one enshrines the first emperor in Japan. About 0.8 million people visit
this shirine on only 3 new year days.
Yes, I hope you enjoy this blog even if I'm poor at English.
2006, Have a wonderful year!
